TIANJIN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Tianjin Government Scholarship is especially for the international students to study as undergraduates and postgraduates prograns in Tianjin. Tianjin Government Scholarship (TGS) is set up by Tianjin Municipal Government. Tianjin Government Scholarship is covering the educational cost expense and living recompense completely or incompletely, and should be connected each year. School of International Education of Tianjin University-TJU is approved by Tianjin Municipal Government to be in charge of the acknowledgment, survey, and endorsement of the grant applications.

Tianjin Government Scholarship Categories:

  • Bachelor’s degree: 4-6 years
  • Master’s degree: 2-3 years
  • Doctoral degree: 3 years

Tianjin Government Scholarship Criteria and Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree applicants must have a high school completed diploma.
  • Master’s degree applicants must have a bachelor’s degree completed certificate.
  • Doctoral degree applicants must have a master’s degree completed certificate.

Tianjin Government Scholarship Value

  • Partial Scholarship
    Undergraduate: CNY 20000 /students/year
    Master: CNY 30000 /students/year
    PH.D: CNY 38000 /students/year
  • Full scholarship
    (1)1Exemption from registration fee, tuition fee, on-campus accommodation fee, laboratory fees, internship fees and basic learning materials fees;
    (2) The comprehensive insurance in China: CNY800/student/year;
    (3) Living allowance (10-mongth): Bachelor’s degree: CNY 1400/month; Master’s degree: CNY 1700/month; Doctoral degree: CNY2000/month;
    (4) One- time settlement for new students CNY800/student.

* Tianjin Municipal Government and Nankai University shall reserve all the rights of modifying the scholarship.

Deadline: June 15th of each year.
