BSMRU Admission:- Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University (BSMRU), Kishoreganj is a newly established Government University in Bangladesh. BSMRU is a government-funded public university in Bangladesh.
In a regular cabinet meeting on 24 January 2020, chaired by the prime minister of Bangladesh, agreed in principle to the Acts for the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University in Kishoreganj District.

As per the notification of the government of Bangladesh, Dr Z M Parvaz Sazzad, a professor of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) of the University of Dhaka, will serve as the founding vice-chancellor of the BSMRU in Kishorganj for the next four years.
