Green University of Bangladesh is a private university in Bangladesh. It offers BBA, MBA, LLB, LLM, BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, BSc in Computer Science and Engineering, BSc in Textile Engineering, BA in English, BSS in Sociology and Film and Media among others.
Green University Announced its Third Convocation
The third convocation of Green University of Bangladesh is scheduled to be held on January 2018. Online registration on 09 October 2017 and will be closed on 11 December 2017. Details of the third convocation of Green University is given below:
Second Convocation of Green University
The 2nd Convocation of Green University of Bangladesh was held on February 18, 2016 at International Convention City Bashundhara. Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, the hon’ble Education Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh presided over the convocation ceremony as the representative of the hon’ble President and Chancellor of the University, Mr. Md. Abdul Hamid and conferred degrees on the graduates. Prof. Abdul Mannan, the hon’ble Chairman, UGC of Bangladesh delivered the Convocation Speech. However, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, the VC of the university and Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mamun, the Chairman of BOT of the university also spoke on the occasion. A total of 1536 graduates received degrees in this convocation. Four students received Chancellor’s gold medal and seven students were awarded Vice-Chancellor’s gold medal.
First Convocation of Green University
The first convocation of Green University of Bangladesh was held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city on February 16, 2012. The Honorable Education Minister, Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, on behalf of the Honorable Chancellor and the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, presided over the Convocation ceremony and conferred degrees to the graduating students. Dr. Serajul Islam Choudhury, Emeritus Professor, Department of English, University of Dhaka, was the Convocation Speaker. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anwarullah Chowdhury and Chairman of Trustee Board Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun also spoke on the occasion. Conferred degrees on around 585 graduates in the first convocation
