Green University VC Achieved Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA)

The Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir has achieved the status of Senior Fellow of The Higher Education Academy (HEA), UK for his contribution in teaching and learning in higher education. He worked for the development of effective learning environments and approaches to student support and guidance. Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir was delighted to be such kind of Fellow. He Said, ‘I am very pleased to have this fellow. I hope this achievement will help me to contribute more quality for education in future.’

It is mentioned that, The Higher Education Academy (HEA) is based in UK for teaching and learning support in higher education. The Academy works with governments, ministries, universities and individual academics in the UK, and around the globe. They provide value to the HE sector by focusing on the contribution of teaching. 

Prior to this fellowship, Prof. Md. Samdani Fakir received Global Awards for excellence in education, leadership and teaching from World Education Congress, Mumbai, India on 29th June, 2012. For his contributions in Afghanistan and Global Partnership Program he was also selected as one of the recipients of the Rapport Bangladesh-2004 Award for Excellence in Human Resource Development. He has got lifetime award from Bangladesh Organization for Learning and Development (BOLD) and Atish Dipankar Award also.
