Total 68.91% students has passed this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations across the country which is 5.79 percentage points lower than that of previous year 2016.

Among them, 37,726 examinees of HSC obtained Grade Point Average (GPA)-5.

Around 10:30 am, Education Minister Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of the results to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gono Bhaban.

Total 66.84 percent students passed this year’s HSC examinations with 33,242 students obtaining GPA-5. The pass rates in madrasa and technical boards are respectively 77.20 and 81.33 percent. The pass rate is 70.28 percent under Barisal education board, 65.44 percent under Dinajpur board and 71.30 percent under Rajshahi board.

Institution-based result sheet has to be downloaded through entry of EIIN of respective educational institution from www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd.

Students can also collect their results from www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, result corner of www.educationboard.gov.bd and website of respective education board. Last year, the combined pass rate in 10 education boards, including madrasa and technical boards, was 74.70 percent, 5.1 percentage points higher than that of previous year.
