41st BCS preliminary: The PSC has fixed March 19, 2021 for the 41st BCS Preliminary Examination. 4 lakh 75 thousand candidates have applied for the 41st BCS preliminary examination. The test will be conducted simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh. The number of applicants in the examination is 4 lakh 75 thousand. The PSC has taken a few new decisions to take the test in compliance with the health rules.
PSC published the notification of 41st BCS on 27 November 2019. It was informed that 2,135 officers will be appointed in different posts. According to the notification, most will be taken in the education cadre. 915 candidates will be recruited in this cadre. 915 in BCS education out of these, 905 candidates in general education 10 posts for technical education department will be taken. After the education cadre, more recruitment will be done in the administration cadre.
323 candidates will be appointed in the administration. 100 people will be taken in the police, 110 assistant surgeons in BCS health and 30 assistant dental surgeons. 25 will be recruited from abroad, 23 from Ansar, 25 from the Ministry of Finance, 25 from the post of Assistant Accountant General (Audit and Accounts), 60 from the Assistant Tax Commissioner (Tax), 23 from the Assistant Commissioner (Customs and Excise) and 6 from the Assistant Registrar. In the Department of Statistics and Information Management, 12 Statistic Officers, 4 Assistant Mechanical Engineers, 1 Assistant Traffic Superintendent, 1 Assistant Equipment Controller, 20 Assistant Engineers (Civil), and 3 Assistant Engineers (Mechanical) will be recruited. There are 22 Assistant Directors or Information Officers or Research Officers in the Ministry of Information, 11 Assistant Directors (Programs), 5 Assistant Message Controllers, 9 Assistant Radio Engineers, 38 Assistant Engineers in BCS Public Health Engineering in the Local Government Department and 20 Assistant Forest Conservators.
2 Assistant Postmaster Generals, 15 BCS Fisheries, 6 Livestock, 183 Agricultural Extension Officers and 6 Scientific Officers, 4 Assistant Controllers of BCS Trade. There will be 4 Family Planning Officers, 6 Assistant Food Controllers and 2 Assistant Conservation Engineers in BCS Food, 36 Assistant Engineers (Civil) in BCS Public Works and 15 Assistant Engineers (E / M).
