Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) Admission 2019-2020 Information
Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) is a publicly funded university. Rangamati Science and Technology University is located in Rangamati, Bangladesh. Only 75 students were admitted in the first batch. The first batch of 75 students began classes in November 2015, at a temporary campus which is temporarily situated at Tabalchharhi Shah High School.

RMSTU Faculties and Programs
There are only two faculties available at Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU). These are Engineering Faculty and another one is Management Faculty. The faculties are:
- Faculty of Science and Engineering
- Faculty of Business Studies

At present, all the department has 50 Seat Each.
RMSTU Admission Test Requirements
- For the CSE
SSC/Equivalent exam passing year must be in 2017 or 2016
HSC/ Equivalent exam passing year should be in 2019 or 2018
Applicants must have a science background
They have to be the Citizen of Bangladesh
Minimum GPA 3.00 out of 5.00 both in SSC & HSC or equivalent Exams
Total Minimum GPA of 6.50 out of 10 - For the Management
SSC/Equivalent exam passing year 2017/2016
HSC/Equivalent exam passing year 2019/2018
Candidates from Business Studies/ Science group may apply
Minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC or equivalent exams
Total Minimum GPA of 5.50 out of 10
RMSTU Admission Test Marks Distribution:
- RMSTU A-Unit: Bangla- 10 ,English –10 , Chemistry -20 , Physics- 25 ,Math – 25 , General Knowledge –10
- RMSTU B-Unit: Bangla- 20 , English – 20, Business Policy -25 , Accounting – 25, General Knowledge –10
RMSTU Admission Test Pass Mark:
- General Students: 36
- QUOTA Students: 30
- Note for CSE Applicants: Applicants for CSE program are required to obtain a minimum 3 marks in Bangla and English. Physics, Chemistry and Math Marks Should be 7 separately.
- Department of Management, applicants are required to obtain 6 marks in Bangla and English.
