Results of ‘A’ (Faculty of Arts) and ‘C’ (science faculty) unit of the first year’s admission test of Rajshahi University for the academic year 2013-2017-18 published on the University website at 4:30 pm on Tuesday.

In this, 1506 people from A-1 and 1529 from ‘A-2’ shifts from Arts faculty were invited for an interview. The interview of A-1 shift in the merit list on November 12 and an interview for students of roll number of ‘A2’ shift on November 13 will be held. The candidates who have passed will have to fill the subject matter of the website by November 8.  Apart from this, 1 thousand 217 for admission to the Department of Arts, 7 thousand 119 for the Department of Drama and 4,626 for Music category has been nominated for written and practical examination.

The written examinations of the English department will be held on November 14 and the practical examinations of drama and music department will be held from 4 to 8 November in the concerned division.

Professor AKM Abdul Latif, convener of the Technical Committee of the admission test of the Faculty of Arts, said 33 thousand 311 people were examined in the faculty of Arts. In addition to the absenteeism and inaccurate students, there were 29 thousand 950 people who were valid candidates. Passed 14 thousand 68 people. Pass rate is 46.96 percent.

On the other hand, the candidates of the science stream ‘C’ will have to complete the online department option form from November 7 to 20. After the merit list on November 23, the final list of nominated students will be published. Apart from this, the practical examination schedule will be published on Nov 13, for those who have opted for admission to Physical Education and Sports Department. The total examinations were 49 thousand 174 in this faculty.

Dean of the faculty Professor Akhter Faruq said that pass rate is 26 in C1 shift, 40 in C-2 shift and about 30 percent in C3 unit.
