Admission to Private Medical Colleges will be started on July 3
The admission process for the MBBS Degree under the academic year 2022-23 in 66 Govt Approved Private Medical Colleges of Bangladesh is scheduled to commence on 03, July 2023, according to a notification from the Department of Health Education. Prospective students will have the opportunity to secure admission in the allocated seats until July 9.
As per the notification, a total of 6,354 individuals have applied online for the available seats reserved for native students in private medical colleges. Out of these, 3,332 seats have been designated (3,201 under the general quota and 131 under the Muktijodha quota). On June 13, SMS notifications were sent to the top 3,332 candidates based on merit and preference. Among them, 3,108 candidates have confirmed their admission to private medical colleges.
On June 20, SMS notifications were sent to candidates who were selected based on merit and preference for the remaining 224 seats allocated to native students after auto migration. The last date for confirmation of students is June 25. Once the confirmation process is complete, the list of selected students will be published on the Department of Health Education’s website. Subsequently, the admission process for private medical colleges will commence on July 3 and conclude on July 9.
