BDS Admission Test Circular 2020-2021 | Dental Admission Test 2021

Bachelor of Dental Surgeon (BDS Admission Notice has been published for the first-year course in government and private dental colleges in Bangladesh. DGHS is publishing this notification for the admission of students in the BDS course in Dental College / Unit / Institute in the academic year 2020-21. Next Saturday (March 27) online application will start at 12 noon and will continue till 11:59 pm on April 14 this year. This has been said in a notification of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Govt and Private Medical College Ranking

It is said in the notification, one has to fill the online application form by depositing Tk. 1000.00 (one thousand) for the examination fee in Teletalk mobile. Students who have passed both SSC and equivalent examinations in 2017 and 2018 and HSC or equivalent examinations in 2019 and 2020 including Physics, Chemistry, Biology can apply for admission. Applicants will be able to download the admission form from 24th to 26th April.

BDS Total Marks and Distribution

The admission test will be held on April 30. There will be 1-hour admission test for 100 MCQ questions of 100 marks. Physics 20, Chemistry 25, Biology 30, English 15 and General Knowledge, History of Bangladesh and Liberation War will be MCQ exam number 10.

GPA Requirements for BDS Examination

In all domestic and foreign education activities, SSC / equivalent and HSC / equivalent examinations should have a total GPA of 9. All Tribal (Plain and Hill District) SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations must have a total GPA-8.

Cannot apply if GPA is less than 3.5 in any single test like SSC or HSC. Everyone must have a GPA-3.5 in Biology in HSC or equivalent examination. The rules for filling up the online form for BDS admission and details about the admission can be found on the website of the DGHS (www.dghs.gov.bd)
