Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) is the main and only government sports education center in the country. A notice has been published for the admission of students in BKSP. Students will be admitted in the BKSP in the 2021 academic year with the aim of producing national and international standard players by providing long-term science-based training in the field of sports, including general education. A preliminary selection test will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on the scheduled day mentioned in the admission notification of BKSP. Preliminary selection activities will be conducted in BKSP.

Apart from the main centers in Savar, BKSP has regional centers in Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Dinajpur.

BKSP offers admission in the following sports categories

Students will be admitted in cricket, football, athletics, archery, swimming and diving, karate, boxing, judo, kabaddi, wushu, gymnastics, basketball, tennis, hockey, squash, volleyball, taekwondo, shooting and table tennis categories.

BKSP Preliminary Selection Criteria

On the day of preliminary selection, the trainee has to participate in the examination by depositing Rs. 200 / – for the print copy of the registration form filled online.
Primary medical and physical fitness tests will be taken on the day of the primary election.
A practical test will be taken according to self-play on the day of the preliminary election. For this, everyone has to bring sports equipment and clothes according to their own game.
A candidate can take the exam in more than one sports department with different registration numbers.
Preliminary election results will be published on the BKSP website http://www.bksp.gov.bd/

BKSP Final Selection Criteria

A 7-day training camp will be organized with the initially selected trainees, which will be published on the BKSP website.
The trainees will be given a practical test in their respective sports department on the day of joining the camp.
A practical and final medical examination will be taken.
2 (two) copies of color photo (passport size), attested copy of birth registration, PEC and JSC / JDC certificate should be brought on the day of joining the training camp.
Training activities of the admitted trainees will be conducted in other regional training centers including BKSP’s Dhaka center.

BKSP Centers Locations and Examinations Date

Sylhet Division: Preliminary selection on 5th and 6th February (Friday and Saturday). The primary election will be held at BKSP Regional Training Center, Kallagram, Bypass, Khadimnagar, Sylhet.
Barisal Division: Preliminary selection will be on 9th and 10th February (Tuesday and Wednesday). BKSP Regional Training Center, Goriyarpar, Barisal will be the primary election for two days.
Khulna Division: The primary election of this division will be held on 12 and 13 February (Friday and Saturday). The two-day preliminary election of this division will be held at BKSP Regional Training Center, Affiliate, Khulna.
Rangpur Division: The primary election of this division will be held on 19th and 20th February (Friday and Saturday).
Preliminary elections will be held at BKSP Regional Training Center, Bansherhat, Dinajpur.
Rajshahi Division: 22 and 23 February (Monday and Tuesday), Muktiyuddha Smriti Stadium, District Sports Organization, Rajshahi will be the preliminary selection test.
Chittagong Division: Preliminary examination of this division will be held on 26th and 27th February (Friday and Saturday) at BKSP Regional Training Center, Sagarika Road, Pahartali, Chittagong.
Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions: March 5 and 6 (Friday and Saturday) BKSP, Jirani, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka and the preliminary election examination of the two divisions.
