BUET has published the admission circulation of the Hons’ admission test for the 2021-22 academic year.
BUET admission test advertisement: – Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) admission test application has started for the 2021-22 academic year honors (graduation) programs. The online application starts at 10 am. This activity will continue till April 25. The application fee can be paid through mobile or online banking till April 26.

Due to the global epidemic, BUET will take the admission test in two steps. The pre-selection test (preliminary selection) will be taken in two shifts on June 4. Candidates who pass this test will take part in the final admission test on 18th June.
One thousand taka for application, pre-selection and original admission in group ‘A’ (engineering and departments and urban and regional planning department) and 1,200 taka in group ‘B’ (engineering and departments, urban and regional planning department and architecture department) This process has to be completed with a fee through mobile banking.

BUET Total Seats
The total number of seats for the candidates belonging to small ethnic groups in CHT and other areas is 1,269 including 3 reserved seats for Engineering Department and Urban and Regional Planning Department and 1 reserved seat for Architecture Department.

When is the BUET Admission Test?
The pre-selection test (preliminary selection) will be taken in two shifts on June 4. A total of 100 MCQ exams will be held for groups ‘A’ and ‘B’. The time is one hour. The first shift test will start at 10 am and the second shift test will start at 3 pm. Negative marking will be done in the pre-selection test. 25% of the marks of the question will be deducted from the number obtained for each wrong answer. BUET will announce the names of eligible applicants for the main admission test on June 11. The main admission test of BUET will be held on 18th June. This test consists of mathematics, physics and chemistry for groups ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the module from 10 am to 12 noon. Freehand drawing and visual and spatial intelligence of Module-B ‘B’ group from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. After that, the list of selected and waiting candidates will be published on July 6.
