Higher education in Norway is offered by a range of eight universities, nine specialized universities, 24 university colleges as well as a range of private university colleges. The national advanced education framework is as per the Bologna procedure, with four year certifications, graduate degrees and doctoral degrees. Acknowledgment is offered in the wake of completing upper auxiliary school with general college confirmations accreditation. State funded instruction is free, with a scholarly year with two semesters, from August to December and from January to June. A definitive duty regarding the instruction lies with the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.
