For the admission in the Eleventh Classes, public and private colleges will be divided into three sections. As per the number of students admitted in XI Classes and rate of passes in HSC in last year, the colleges will bee divided in ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ divisions. This initiative has been taken to determine the type of college for which the students and guardians of admission do not become confused and cheated.

According to the Dhaka Education Board sources, the educational institutions will be divided three category according to the following factors:

  • At least 600 students or more were admitted in the Eleventh Class (2018-2019 academic year) and at least 70 percent of the pass rate in HSC in last year will be classified as ‘A’.
  • At least 600 students were admitted, and pass rate in the HSC exams from 70 to 50 percent they are classified as ‘B’ and
  • Those with less than 50 percent pass rate, and less than 600 students will be classified as ‘C’.

In the Dhaka Board ‘A’ class college seats 1 lakh

According to the preliminary list, the college of ‘A’ class under Dhaka Board are 82. There are 12 lakh seats will be empty

Admission to class XI in colleges and madrassas of the country will be done under the Dhaka Education Board. How to apply for xi class admission
