Actress Purnima and Actor Ferdous in the Green University 

Actress Purnima is now taken regular acting classes of Green University. Recently, such picture was found in Green University Campus in the Shewrapara of the capital city. She shared her experience in the short course of ‘Certificate in Acting Course’ class. Not only she is, but also one of the most popular hero of the big screen Bangladesh Ferdous. In addition to this, Jahangirnagar University’s Drama and Dramatology Department Assistant Professor Anan Zaman, filmmaker Zakir Hossain Raju, actor Jayanta Chattapadhyay, director and actor Gazi Rakayet took regular courses on various topics.

During exchanging the experience to the students, Purnima said, acting is the expression out of the heart. If you want to adapt, first you have to adapt to the relevant environment. She said, organizing this shourt course aimed at gifting talented actors in the media. Through this, the newers will be given access to the media world through training.

Prior to this, on 01 August of this year, ‘Certification in Acting’ course was started in the Green University of Bangladesh with the initiative of a professional artist and producer. ‘Basic Acting’, later ‘Acting in Theater, Television and Movies’ and finally ‘Practical Courses’ will be done at the beginning of the three-month course.

It is to be noted that Green University of Bangladesh was established in 2003. Recently, GUB has signed an agreement with the US-Bangla Group for providing jobs and internship opportunity. Under this agreement, the graduates of GUB who have successfully completed their programs as well as sound in English and information-technology skills will get job opportunity at the US-Bangla Group including US-Bangla Airlines.

At present, admission of Spring Semester-2018 is going on with attractive scholarship at green university. Green University is the only ISO 9001:2008 certified University in Bangladesh for designing and developing course content and ensuring quality education at undergraduate and graduate level.
