Online application for admission to MBBS admission in medical college has changed. As per new decision the application will begin on August 31 instead of August 27. However, the deadline for the application will remain unchanged on September 18 at 11:59 pm. The information was released on Monday in a notification issued by the health ministry.

It has been said that the application for online admission to students has been changed for the convenience of preparing online software for the MBBS 2015-2019 academic year in view of the government’s decision to set up new government medical colleges in some districts recently. Detailed information about admission and admission to MBBS admission forms will be known from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (website) and Health Department (website).

Yesterday at a press conference in Dhaka, the health minister Nasim said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has agreed to start the four new medical colleges in the country. He said these four medical colleges will be located at Naogaon, Netrokona, Magura and Nilphamari. Besides, another proposal for medical colleges in Chandpur is waiting for approval. From the academic year 2018-19, 250 students get the chance to be admitted to the new five medical colleges.

According to the health department sources, admission tests will be held on October 5. Marks distribution of the  MBBS Admission test follows Mathematics-30, Chemistry-25, Physics-20, English-15, General Knowledge: History and Culture of Bangladesh -6, International -4.
