Barisal University Admission Test Dates, Number of Seats and Applicants
The first year admission test will be held on October 18 and 19 at the University of Barisal (BU) for the undergraduate (honors) programs under the 2019-2020 academic session. 11 days before the university treasurer who appointed to VC Dr. AKM Mahbub Hassan period expires on Tuesday.
Barisal University (BU) is the 33rd public university in the country and only such university in the division. An average of 35 admission seekers will fight for one seat at Barishal University (BU).

According to Barisal University VC (acting) said that all preparations for the admission test have been taken even though there is a doubt as to whether the admission test will be held at the specified time. This year’s admission test will have 35 students against each seat. This time, a record number of 49 thousand 956 students applied in the three units.
According to a university administration source, there is a suspicion that the admission test will be held at a certain time if the post of VC is vacant. Because the university does not have the responsibility of the Pro-VC, the post of Treasurer has been vacant from Tuesday. The top three administrative positions of the university administration are the highest administrative positions. If there is no one to take the responsibility of completing the test properly.
A total of 1,440 seats are allocated for 24 subjects under six faculties divided into “Ka”, “Kha” and “Ga” units in the Barisal University. The applications for the admission test were received from September 1-25 of this year through mobile SMS. Admit cards distribution has already been started from October 1 through BU website: admission.eis.bu.ac.bd
