City University of Hong Kong Scholarship

The Hong Cong City University offers science, engineering, liberal arts, social sciences, law, business and Veterinary Medicine courses under nine schools.

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is a public university in the city of Kowloon of Hong Kong. The university always tries to focus on research, and it was founded in 1984 as City Polytechnic. After that, it became a fully-fledged university in 1994.

For those who have excellent academic performance, the City University of Hong Kong offers various types of entrance scholarships for non-local students who are admitted to full-time government-funded bachelor’s degree programs.

Scholarship Facilities

In 2021/22, the City University offered three types of scholarships for the International Students

The scholarship costs HK$180,000, which will cover campus accommodation, annual tuition fees, and living expenses.
Full tuition fee scholarship covers annual tuition fee costs.
Similarly, a grant of HK$30,000 per annum will be given to students admitted from underrepresented nationalities except for top Scholarship recipients
The scholarship award will cover half or full of the annual tuition fee

Students must meet certain criteria when applying for a City University Scholarship. These are:

Applicants must have a certificate from high school.
Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic records and leadership qualities.
They must be enrolled for a graduate course at City University in Hong Kong.
