About the Fulbright Foreign Student Program in the USA

The Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists, from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States of America (USA). The Fulbright Foreign Student Program operates in more than 155 countries

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is administered by bi-national Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices.

Each year approximately 4,000 international students receive Fulbright scholarships.

According to the notification of the American Embassy, applicants with degrees in university administration and curriculum development, health, and medical sciences, biological and physical sciences, social sciences, humanities, business, economics, public policy, environmental sciences, urban planning, the arts, psychology and security studies will be eligible for the Fulbright Scholarships.

Application instructions

All applications are processed by bi-national Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. Therefore, foreign students must apply through the Fulbright Commission/Foundation or U.S. Embassy in their home countries. 

Deadline
