MBBS Admission Test 2020-2021:- Application for admission in the first year MBBS course in government-private medical colleges in Bangladesh has started in the academic year 2020-21.

MBBS Admission Test 2020-2021 | Application Deadlines

Students will be able to apply online from 12 noon on Thursday the 12 February 2021. Students will be able to apply for medical admission until 11:59 pm on 01 March 2021, according to the DG Health. The application form has to be filled as per the instructions and have to deposit one thousand taka through Teletalk Prepaid SIM.

MBBS Admission Test 2020-2021 | Requirements for Application

Those who have passed SSC or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018 and HSC or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2020 (including Physics, Chemistry and Biology) can apply for admission. However, students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before 2018 will not be considered eligible to apply. The total GPA in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations conducted in Bangladesh or abroad should be at least 9.00.

In case of candidates from ethnic minority groups and hill districts, the total GPA in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations should be at least 8. In addition, everyone must have a minimum grade point of 3.50 in HSC or equivalent examination in Biology.

MBBS Admission Test Date 2020-2021 

The MBBS admission test will be held on April 2 from 10 am to 11 am and the total number will be 100 in the admission test.

MBBS Admission Test 2020-2021 | Distribution of Marks

One hundred MCQ questions (value 1 each) will have 20 marks in Physics, 25 marks in Chemistry, 30 marks in Biology, 15 marks in English and 10 marks in General Knowledge, History and Liberation War.

0. 25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the written test. Must get minimum 40 marks out of 100 marks in written test. If it is less than this, it will be considered as unsuccessful. Only the successful candidates will be declared with the merit list.

GPA obtained in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations will be assessed as 200 marks. Of these, GPA obtained in SSC or equivalent examination will be 15 times equal to 75 marks and in HSC or equivalent examination GPA will be 25 times equal to 75 marks. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of written test.

Bangladeshi nationals residing abroad and ‘O’ level ‘A’ level students can apply online. The number of total seats in the 36 government funded medical colleges in the country is 4,350.
