MBBS Admission Test 2022-2023 Circular:
Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) has published the advertisement for admission of public and private medical colleges for the session of 2022-23. Online application will start on February 13. Students can apply till February 23.
This information has been informed in a notification of the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME). According to the notification, the application can be made online as per the policy 2023 made by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) for admission to the medical colleges. Applicant must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
As per the advertisement, ‘Application processing, monitoring, evaluation of answer sheets, finalization of results and re-verification will be done through digital process. The answer sheet will be checked on ‘OMR or ICR’ machine.
Who can apply?
Students who wish to attend in the admission test of 2022-23 session must have passed HSC in 2022 and SSC in 2020 or HSC in 2021 and SSC in 2019. Provided that the SSC examination must be passed within two years of passing the HSC examination. Students who have passed science section in SSC exam and passed HSC exam with Biology, Physics, Chemistry will be eligible to apply.
Aggregate GPA should be at least 9 in both exams. In case of non-tribal candidates and hill districts, aggregate GPA of 8 in both examinations. However, GPA less than 3.50 in any single exam will not be considered eligible to apply. Application will be considered rejected if the minimum grade point is not 4.0 in Biology in HSC Examination for all. The merit list will be prepared based on the sum of the marks obtained in the written admission test and the marks obtained in the SSC and HSC examinations.
Application fee
Online application fee can be submitted till 24 February 11:59 PM by payment of the application fee BDT 2000.
Download admit card
Admit card distribution will start on March 6. Students can collect the admit card till March 7.
When is the Admission Test?
The admission test will be held on March 10 at 10 am. The exam will be of one hour duration.
