Government Primary Schools Teacher Recruitment Examination Will be Held on 1 February 2019

The appointment of ‘Assistant Teacher’ will be held in the government primary school on February 1, 2019. Primary and Mass Education Ministry has already taken the overall preparation for the written test of the MCQ test system. Apart from this, verbal examination will be completed in the next two months. Director General of Primary Education Dr. Md. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal confirmed this information to the media.

In this process, more than 2.4 million job seekers applied for assistant teacher recruitment examinations in primary Schools in Bangladesh.  They will sit in the admission process against 12 thousand seats across the country. According to the sources, the appointment test was scheduled to begin in December last year, but for several reasons it was delayed. Preparations for the preparation of written tests on February 1 will be completed.

Apart from this, there are thoughts about ending oral exams in the next two months. There will be an appointment meeting in the ministry next week. There will be a final decision on this. After the written examination, more than 10 thousand teachers will be recruited, according to sources. It is known that around 64 thousand 820 government primary schools are located in the whole country. There are about 12,000 assistant teachers in it. For this reason, the decision to recruit more than 12,000 assistant teachers was decided.

Following the old recruitment rules, the appointment notice was published. In its light, 60 percent of the female applicants in the quota for HSC or equivalent pass and 40 percent quota for men are asked for a graduate or equivalent pass. Three students (one male and two women) will be selected in the written examination.
