Schwarzman Scholarship, founded by American financier Stephen A. Schwarzman. It is an international postgraduate award program for about 200 students per year from all over the world to study at Tsinghua University, China. The main objective of the scholarship program is to build bridges between China and the rest of the world. To select the scholars to award the scholarship, the main criteria are academic achievement, leadership ability, and demonstrated potential to become the next generation of global leaders. The selected scholars study at Tsinghua University with a fully-funded one-year master’s degree.

Schwarzman Scholars Scholarship has announced a one-year postgraduate program for the academic year 2022-23 at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. It is a full free scholarship. International students including those from Bangladesh can apply for this scholarship. Online applications for this scholarship can be made till September 20 of the year 2022.

Schwarzman Scholars Qualification and Age

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and the age should be 18 to 29 years as of August 1, 2023.

Schwarzman Scholars programs cover tuition, fees, room, and board, travel to and from the Beijing city at the beginning and end of the academic year, study tours in China, course books, a Lenovo laptop, health insurance, and a personal stipend.

How many Schwarzman Scholars are provided each year?

Schwarzman Scholars supports up to 200 Scholars annually from the United States of America (USA), China, and all over the world for a one-year master’s degree in global affairs.

Additional Requirements

Must be fluent in the English language. English proficiency test scores must be submitted with the application. TOEFL IBT score 100; A minimum score of 7 in IELTS; Cambridge English Advanced (C1) or Cambridge English Proficiency (C2) must have a minimum score of 185.
