MBA for whom?
An MBA can be an effective degree if you want to work at the management or executive level of an organization. That is to say, whatever the undergraduate subject, postgraduate studies should not be about business administration. Gain experience working for a few years. Understand where your career is headed. Then decide. Since MBA is a practical degree, many cannot adapt to competitive studies. Quit reading in the middle. If you want to do an MBA along with the job, consider whether you can give the right amount of time.
When to do an MBA?
The average age of MBA students is 26 years. It has been found that students between the ages of 25 and 30 are more interested in getting an MBA degree. The average age of the students admitted to the MBA program in India is 34, and for admission, they have to have 10 and a half years of work experience. The average age of MBA students in the United States is 26-28 years. The average age of those who have been admitted to Harvard University for an MBA in the last few years is 26. Many business schools require 3 to 4 years of work experience to be admitted for an MBA degree.
However, it can be seen in different universities in Bangladesh that the students start MBA classes after completing their undergraduate (honors) level studies. The main goal of an MBA degree is not only a degree but also work experience is important here. Simply put, it can be an effective way to take your career one step further.
This is the last word — everyone is doing an MBA, so I need to do it too; Never start an MBA with such thoughts. When you graduate in any subject, in which case you want to build a career, keep these things in mind.
