Comilla University ‘A’ Unit Admission Test Date Changed

Comilla University has changed the date and schedule of ‘A’ unit in the first year of graduation (honors) admission test for the academic year 2018-2019. The test will be held on November 10 at 3pm. Earlier, the admission test of ‘A’ unit was scheduled to be held at 10am on 9th November.
A meeting of the central admission test committee was held in the administrative building on Sunday in the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Emran Kabir Chowdhury. The decision was taken at the meeting. Public relations branch officer Mohammad Emdadul Haque confirmed the matter.
A member of the meeting said, According to the preliminary declaration, the admission test of ‘A’ unit was to be held on 9 November at 10am. The Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination of the Comilla Education Board will be held on that date. So schools can not be found empty. So the ‘A’ unit admission test schedule was changed. Due to the new JSC English exam on Sunday 9 November, this has to be done.
Note that this year, 61 competing in each seat in this university. This year, registration for registration of admission test against 1,140 seats has been registered (63 thousand 630). The admission test will be held on 9 and 10 November.
According to the university sources, in the Faculty of Science and Engineering (‘A’), 26 thousand 939 against the 350 seats, Arts and Humanities, Social Science and Faculty of Law (‘B’ units), 4,332 versus 450 seats and in the Faculty of Business Education (‘C’ ‘Unit) 12 thousand 189 forms submitted against 240 seats. Members of the admission test committee said. Abu Taher said, this year, in three units, admission test for 19 subjects will be taken in six faculties. Without quota, students will be admitted to 1,140 seats. There are 57 quota seats.
