Green University has Started Admission Process in its Permanent Campus

Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) has established its permanent campus in aesthetic environment in Purbachal American City near Dhaka. Academic activities of the university has already started at the permanent campus by taking admission activities, regular classes and other activities including exams.
Universities sources said that the permanent campus of Green University has been built to ensure quality physical infrastructure for ensuring quality education. Not only this, all educational materials are present here to make future leaders are more qualified as well as capable for the 21st century. The enthusiasm has also been noticed among the students about the new campus.
Iftekhar Mahmood, a student of the CSE department of the university, said that the new campus will be very pleasant in the environment. His also said, the biggest thing, is to get rid from the traffic jam in Dhaka and will get get better education opportunities in a free environment. In that case, the university buses will add an extra level to the vast playground, indoor games and travel. It is to be noted here that some buses have already been introduced for the convenience of traveling students from various places including Kuril Bishwaroad, Sonargaon, Bhulta and Narsingdi. More buses will be provided in the light of need.
Green University started its journey in 2003. However, after the US-Bangla Group took its responsibilities in 2011, there was a huge change in its facilities. According to the latest report of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the university currently has four faculties and 8 departments. 15 courses in higher learning, including computer engineering, electrical engineering, textile engineering, business education, law, English, journalism and media communication and sociology. According to the report, currently 183 teachers are teaching in the university. At present, there are 12 Professor, Associate Professor 9, Assistant Professor 27 and 113 Lecturers are working in GUB. The teacher students ratio is 1:24. That ration is much more better of many other universities in the country. GUB authority has provided 50% to 100% scholarship on account of admission opening ceremony at permanent campus.
