JKKNIU Admission Test Circular 2019-2020 Published

Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University ( JKKNIU) is a government-financed public university of Bangladesh. It is located at Nama para Battala, 1.5 kilometers from Trishal Upazila of Mymensingh district. Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University was established by the Government of Bangladesh on 01 March 2005

National poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University’s ( JKKNIU) first year admission test 2019-2020 will be held in the new rules. Till now only admission tests were conducted through MCQ. But this year for the first time, there will be a written test alongside the MCQ. The new procedure will be conducted in one and a half hours for 100 marks admission test. Students enrolled will have to answer the MCQ part number 75 and the written number 25.

The application process for candidates’ admission through online will begin on Tuesday, the 01 October 2019. It will run until 12pm on October 31, 2019. The details of the admission process were published on Sunday evening on the university website. In the MCQ section, only those who get a minimum of 30 marks and 25 in the quota field will be evaluated for the written test script. In the written part, applicants should get a minimum number of 10 out of 25 and quota 8 in quota out of 25 marks.

Examination will be held on 17 November ‘A’ unit, 18 November ‘B’ unit, 19 November ‘C’ unit, 20 November ‘D’ unit and 21 November ‘E’ unit. The application fee for each unit has been charged Tk. 810.00. Other information on the admission test can be found on the University website (www.jkkniu.edu.bd)

JKKNIU Minimum Admission Requirements:

  1. HSC/Equivalent exam passed in 2018 or 2019,
  2. SSC/Equivalent exam passed in 2016 or 2017,
  3. Candidates have to obtain GPA 3.00 in both SSC & HSC exam separately and in a total of 6.50.
  4. For A, C, D Unit at least GPA 7.00 (both in SSC/HSC) exam and at least GPA 3.00 in separately.
  5. For B Unit at least GPA 3.50 separately SSC and HSC exam
  6. The Admission test will be held in the University Campus
