Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) is a newly established public university in Bangladesh. NSTU is located at Noakhali of Bangladesh. Its foundation stone was laid on 11 October 2003 and academic activities started on 22 June 2006.

Minimum Requirements of NSTU Admission Test

• A & B Unit
  Applicants must have Science Background
  SSC/Equivalent exam pass of 2015/2016/2017
  HSC/Equivalent exam pass 2018/2019
  Applicants have to achieve a combined GPA of 6.50 in SSC and HSC.
• C Unit
  Applicants must have Science Background
  HSC/Equivalent exam students must have Biology and Math subjects
• D Unit (group change)
  Science/Arts/Commerce background students must have a combined GPA of 6.00
  Arts background applicants must have Statistics and Math in HSC/Equivalent exam for the Statistics Department
• E Unit
  only Arts students may apply
  SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent students must have at least GPA 3.00
  Applicants must have a total GPA of 6.00 in SSC and HSC
• F Unit
  Only Commerce background students may apply
  SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent students must have at least GPA 3.00
  Applicants must have a combined GPA of 6.00

NSTU Admission Test Marks Distribution

• A Unit
  Bangla -20, English 20, Physics -20, Chemistry -20, Math -20, Biology -20= Total Marks 120
  Applicants can select any two subjects from the above mentioned Bangla, English, and Biology. Applicants are required to answer 100 marks MCQ Questions.
• B Unit
  Bangla – 20, English – 20,  Physics – 20, Chemistry -20, Math – 20, Biology – 20 = Total Marks 120
  From above-mentioned subjects, applicants may select any two subjects from Math, English, and Bangla.
• C Unit
  Bangla – 10, English – 10, Physics -20, Chemistry -20, Math -20, Biology -20 = Total Marks 100
• D Unit
  Bangla – 25, English – 25, Bangladesh Knowledge – 25,  International Knowledge – 25 = Total Marks 100
• E Unit
  Bangla – 25, English – 25, General Knowledge – 50 ( Bangladesh Knowledge, International Knowledge & HSC Syllabus) = Total Marks 100
