Studying at Essex University in the UK with Scholarship

Students who want to study abroad with scholarships can apply under the ‘Great Scholarship’ to study at the postgraduate level at the University of Essex in the UK. It is a joint initiative of the British Council and the UK Government.

Students from different countries including Bangladesh can apply for this scholarship. The University of Essex will offer scholarships in 2023 for Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, India, and Pakistani students under the ‘Great Scholarship’ scholarship scheme.

The amount of this scholarship is about 10 thousand pounds. This scholarship has to be spent as tuition fees for one year of MA, M.Sc., or LLM studies at the University of Essex. The course starts in October 2023.

Important Three Answers are required to get this scholarship: Three questions of a maximum of 200 words each must be answered to get the scholarship. These are the following-

  • The University of Essex seeks to award scholarships to the most talented students who will contribute to the development of their country in the future. So you have to write what your special work will make you eligible for this scholarship from the university.
  • The University of Essex wants you to be their great representative. So you need to show what you have contributed to your institution or the university or to the community where you live or consider yourself apart.
  • Write how studying your chosen subject at university will help shape your future. That means you need to explain why the University of Essex attracted you, in addition to your ultimate career goals.
