Jahangirnagar University CampusJahangirnagar University 1st year of graduation (honors) programs application process for the admission test under the academic year of 2019-2020 will start from 08 August 2019 and the application process will continue till September 7 of 2019 at 11.59pm. The admission test will start on 22 September and end on October 03, 2019.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the central admission management committee of the university on Sunday the 04 August 2019. After the meeting, the deputy registrar of the university’s member secretary Abu Hassan confirmed the information.

He said that the committee has decided on the number of admissions and the minimum eligibility for admission, depending on the category of students in the academic year 2019. Students seeking admission will have to fill out forms individually for nine units. The nine units are:
A-Unit (Faculty of Mathematical and Physics),
B-Unit (Faculty of Sociology),
C-Unit (Faculty of Arts and Humanities),
C1-Unit (Department of Drama and Dramatology and Arts),
D-Unit (Faculty of Biology),
E-Unit (Faculty of Business Studies),
F Unit (Faculty of Law),
G Unit (Institute of Business Administration),
H Unit (Institute of Information Technology) and
I-Unit (Bangabandhu Comparative Literature and Society Institute).

For each of these units of A, B, C, D and E have been fixed at Tk 600.
For each of the C1, F, G, H and I units the fee will be Tk. 400. Details on admission can be found on the university’s admission website (ju-admission.org).

  • 22 September 2019: Six shift of A Unit
  • 23 September 2019: Rest shifts of A Unit and H Unit (IIT)
  • 24 September 2019: D Unit (Biology Faculty)
  • 25 September 2019: Rest of Shifts of D Unit and G Unit (IBA)
  • 26 September 2019: F Unit and I Unit
  • 29 September 2019: C Unit (Arts and Humanities Unit)
  • 30 September 2019: Rest of Shifts of C Unit and C1 Unit and E Unit (Business Studies Unit)
  • 01 October 2019: B Unit (Social Sciences Unit)

Jahangirnagar University has been allotted seats for a total of 1889 students. Against this seat, a total of 3 lakh 59 thousand 962 students have been applied for the admission test
