RU Admission Test Starts from Oct 20, Application Starts

Rajshahi University (Robi) does not have the opportunity to appear for the admission test for the second time in the academic year. The admission test will begin on October 20 and continue till October 22. The decision was made at a meeting of the university admission test committee on Wednesday morning. This information has been confirmed by Rabi Student Advisor Professor. Laila Arjuman Banu. He said the initial application for the examination will start on September 3. It will run until September 12.
RU Application Process
The final application will begin on September 3 and end on September 12. Earlier, the admission test subcommittee decided to take the test in only three units. That decision was upheld at this meeting.
- There will be an examination of the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and the Institute of Education and Research under ‘A’ unit. This unit will have the benefit of division change.
- In the ‘B’ unit, the Faculty of Business Education, the Institute of Business Administration and the ‘C’ Unit will be conducting science, biology and geoscience, agricultural faculty examinations.
On the other hand, a student can take the exam in only one unit. The initial application fee is Tk. 55. Later, the applicants can apply for 1980 taka.
RU Examination method:
The written and MCQ test will be conducted in both ways. 60 Mark MCQ and 40 written. Marks 20 will be given for 20 short questions. 50 minutes will be given for 60 MCQ Questions. Time for a written question is 40 minutes. The test will be conducted in two shifts every day from 9 am to 10.45pm and from 12 pm to 1.45pm.
RU Application Eligibility :
- For Humanities Group: SSC or it’s equivalent and HSC or it’s equivalent in examinations passed with a minimum of 3 points, a total of 7.00
- For Business Studies Group: SSC or its equivalent and HSC or its equivalent in examinations passed with a minimum of 3.50 points, a total of 8.00
- For the Science Group: SSC or it’s equivalent and HSC or its equivalent in examinations passed with a minimum of 3.50 points, a total of 7.00
