Khulna University (KU) is 9th public University in Bangladesh. It is established in 1987. Khulna University is situated at Gollamari, Khulna, Bangladesh.The academic programs of Khulna University started on 31 August 1991 with only 80 students in four disciplines. Khulna University has 28 disciplines under six schools and one institute.
The admission test for the first year undergraduate / graduate (honors) programs in Khulna University (KU) will be held on 2 November , 2019. The decision was taken on 22 July 2019 at a meeting of the Central Admissions Committee of KU, chaired by Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University. The members of the admission committee including deans, Registrar (Acting) were present at the meeting. As per the decision, applications will be accepted from September 1 to September 30 of this year (2019). This year, admission test will be held on campus under the 4 units. Detailed information will be informed shortly through an advertisement.

- Except for Architecture, duration of all programs is 4 years. Architecture course duration is 5 years

Khulna University Admission Test 2019 Timetable
- On November 2, admission test for Science Engineering and Technology School and Live Science School will be held from 10.00 am to 12.00pm under ‘A’ unit,
- Management and Business Administration School will be held from 8.00am to 9.30am under ‘C’ unit.
- Arts and Humanity School, Social Science School, Law School and Education School will be held from 1.30pm to 3.00pm under ‘B’ unit
- Fine Art School will be held to 4.00pm to 5.30pm under ‘D’ unit.

Minimum GPA SSC and HSC= 4.50 separately
Minimum GPA 4.00 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Biology with GPA 3.00 in English in HSC

Arts and Humanities School [Unit B]
Minimum GPA 4.0 in SSC and 4.0 in HSC separately
Minimum GPA 3.50 in Bangla and 3.50 in English

Institute of Fine Arts [Unit B]
Minimum GPA 3.50 in SSC and 3.50 in HSC separately

Law School [Unit B]
Minimum GPA 4.50 in SSC and 4.5 0in HSC separately
